The publication, due for release in January 2009, will be sent to key stakeholders such as One North East & Business Link and will be placed in business centres throughout the region.  It will also be sent to Medilinks (membership organisations of healthcare companies similar to the Healthcare Network) in other regions of England and Wales.

Another added benefit will be the online directory on the new Cels website due to be launched in the New Year.

As well as an annual directory, the Cels Healthcare Network offers many benefits to jmembers.  Regular networking events are held up and down the region to encourage collaboration and share best practise between companies.  Informative events such as ‘Meet the Healthcare Buyer’ are also held which provide information on subjects like NHS procurement from the people ‘in the know.’

The Network also works hard to promote the region’s capabilities on an international scale, through advertising, PR, attending exhibitions and working closely with international inward investment teams.  Members receive marketing support and guidance, supply chain support and technology advice.
