NEPAF

 NEPAF (the North East Proteome Analysis Facility) is an analytical and research laboratory specialising in the identification and analysis or proteins.

NEPAF works with academic research groups and industrial healthcare companies to support all aspects of proteome analysis and to raise awareness of the potential uses of proteomics in drug design, discovery and development and in the diagnosis and monitoring of disease.

In our facility we use state of the art equipment, methods and expertise to provide protein analysis from complex mixtures using:
  • 2-dimensional gel electrophoresis
  • Liquid chromatography
  • Mass spectrometry
  • Bioinformatics data analysis

The combination of our capability, resource and commercial understanding and our in-depth knowledge of the latest methods and techniques in proteomics, enables us to provide an exceptional and high quality service.
